Jennifer Bradley

Psy.D., HSPP, Clinical Psychologist

I believe that human beings have an inherent longing and need for wholeness and balance, which is our natural state of being. However, we sometimes encounter damaging or traumatic events or long term stress that interrupt this natural state. Moreover, our culture is designed, at this point in time, to throw us out of balance. When we are imbalanced, we develop various types of difficulties, including psychological and/or physical symptoms, and we begin to use ineffective or damaging coping mechanisms. We find ourselves yearning for greater depth and meaning in our lives, and a sense of authentic connection, but don't quite know how to find our way. The good news is that with the right tools, these struggles can be used as a path back to the wholeness we seek. Having worked with clients for over twenty years, I know firsthand the power of using our difficulties to point the way towards healing.

Please feel free to explore my website further to learn more about how we can work together. When you’re ready, give me a call or message me to set up an appointment.

Areas of Practice

Psychotherapy, EMDR, Mindfulness Training, Mentoring, and Consultation

My practice includes EMDR therapy and more traditional psychotherapy for clinical concerns including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, LGBTQ-related issues, eating disorders, gender dysphoria and gender confirming transitioning, relationship problems, trauma, and grief. I also offer mindfulness training and meditation mentoring, either separately or integrated into psychotherapy. Psychotherapy services are offered in my office or via telehealth. Meditation mentoring services are offered both in person and through video calls.

I tailor my work to each client or student and the needs that are present at any particular time. I have always emphasized increasing awareness and insight into the deeper underlying issues that create symptoms, as well as developing empowerment and balance with attention to the whole person---mind, body, emotions, and spirit. As neuroscience research shows us more and more about the benefits of mindfulness and self-compassion, I am increasingly integrating training in these areas in my work as well.
